Innovacom takes a stake in OSO-AI, the company that revolutionizes sound analysis

Paris, September 9^th  – Innovacom, a pioneer in venture capital in France, has taken a stake in OSO AI, a start-up that is specialized in artificial intelligence solutions for analyzing sound environments.

As a specialist in supporting early-stage start-ups and digital transformation, Innovacom announces taking a stake, through technocom3, in the company OSO-AI, which grew out of the IMT Atlantique incubator (formerly Telecom Bretagne). The €4 million round of financing also involves Novinvest Parters, the Breton regional fund Breizh Up, as well as OSO-AI’s banking and institutional partners.

Based in Brest, France, OSO-AI designs artificial intelligence solutions that identify and understand sounds and noises in the environment. The company’s objective is to deploy a new range of services in medical-social and healthcare establishments, ranging from personal care to diagnostic support.

Created in 2018, the start-up has already implemented its technologies in several establishments. Through this fundraising, OSO-AI intends to move into an active phase of development and commercialization of its products.

“Artificial intelligence applied to sound environments is an under-explored and truly innovative field. OSO-AI’s technologies, combined with the team’s talent, offer extremely promising prospects for development, particularly in the area of health,” explains Vincent DELTRIEU, Partner at Innovacom.

As a Deep Tech specialist, Innovacom invests at different stages of the company’s life and nowadays manages several institutional funds in seed, early stage and expansion. Its association with the Turenne Group has given rise to a private equity platform with 1 billion euros under management.
